Welcome To DECRELAY CURBING™ "A NEW WAY OF CONCRETE CURBING™"
Installation of your Landscape Borders
We first begin by placing a string and/or paint along the area you want to edge, creating smooth-flowing curves around your landscaping. This will help soften the sharp, straight lines of most structures.
Second, the sod cutting and ground preparation is completed making the landscape ready for curb installation. This is done using a sod-cutting machine to cut a 6-9" wide strip of sod, and the crew using square shovels to remove grass, and level the ground. Once the ground preparation is completed we are ready for installation.
Next the concrete is mixed on a self-contained trailer, and color is added to the exact measurement for the job. The mixture of cement sand, Portland cement, and a reinforced fiber is what creates are strong durable mixture.
Once the concrete is mixed the concrete will then be moved to the extruder machine in large wheelbarrows to minimize damage to lawns, shoveled into the hopper of the concrete extruder machine and extruded into a beautiful continuous border for your landscaped area. For added strength, a 1/8 cable wire is integrated into the curb while being extruded from the machine.
The crew will then finish out the curb depending on the type of curb you are installing, from using trowels or a stamping process to finish the installation. Control joints will be placed every 3' to 5' ft to relieve stress.
We finish the job by sealing your Curb Edging using a Cure & Seal.
1 coat of sealer is applied the same day. Sealer is applied on front, back and top of curb the day the curbing is installed.
As an added incentive, each customer will receive "Free of charge" a 1 gallon container of Super Diamond Sealer (depending on size of curb)...Which can be applied 28 days after Curb Edging is installed.
Please note: Since we have not included a price for a return trip in this service, you are responsible for applying the Super Diamond Seal 28 days after Curb Edging is installed. A service fee of $75.00 for first 100 ft and $35.00 each additional 100 ft will be charged to you if we have to come back and apply seal for you.
This whole process is normally a 1-day process, and when the crew is completed your landscape will be as clean as when they arrived. The property will be returned to the same condition as upon arrival. The owner will be responsible for the protection of the finished product from vandalism or accidental damage for an initial period of 72 hours. Every concrete product requires 28 days to fully cure.
